My sincere condolences to Peter's family and friends. I have enjoyed Peter's blog postings for years. His posts of other artists' works and his own were inspiring and enlightening. He helped me to grow as a watercolor artist. It was a highlight of my day to find a post from Peter in my blog feed. I will miss him.

Thank you for communicating this information. My sincerest condolences. I'd always find Pete's posts through searches and loved his swatch comparisons as well as his portrait pieces. Loved everything he put on this blog. I feel like I've only recently started on my watercolour journey and hope to continue it as long as Peter has as he has been a great inspiration. He will be dearly missed. -Vee (from Bangkok, Thailand)

Oh I am so, so, sorry. My sincere condolences to his family. I have followed Peter's blog since I started painting and always enjoyed and looked forward to his posts. He never shied away from the difficulties in painting and I really valued his insights and his work. Even though we never met in person I will miss him very much.
