I suggest you have a look at the revised and enlarged Van Gogh when they become available. At the moment the best value artist quality over here are Lukas and Sennelier but this may not apply in America. I've even been toying with having a look at the Korean paints and perhaps Turner from Japan. These prices are just a ripoff.Peter Wardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07451951778074071828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2891643331061427318.post-23884111463911013992019-01-30T11:07:55.997-08:002019-01-30T11:07:55.997-08:00Read your post on Maimeriblu with interest. What made this paint so attractive to me was that it offered excellent quality for a much lower price when compared to other artists quality paints. Now they are pretty much the same price as those other brands. Oh well.

I've noticed the Venezia line seems to be disappearing here in the USA. It's offered on Amazon, but once shipping and handling is figured in along with the price of a tube it costs as much as a tube of, well,MaimeriBlu.So there's no point in buying it if that's the case.

Happily, I've enough of the MaimeriBlu primary colors to last me for about two hundred 5x7 or smaller paintings. And I've been working with Cotman again (the Gamboge and Burnt Sienna are just beautiful colors). Oscar Solishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05266668061798353541noreply@blogger.com
