I already have a Da Vinci Spin Synthetic Size 6, A Cosmotop Mix B size 24 and an ABS (Rosemary) Kolinsky Mop size 4. The Spin has a sharp point but the other two don't. All good wash brushes though.
As for drawing ideally I think anyone starting off should spend the first two years learning to draw well. Unfortunately unless you are young and enroll on an art college course most of us don't have the single minded determination to do this.Peter Wardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07451951778074071828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2891643331061427318.post-61084362352122986422012-11-10T20:57:43.054-08:002012-11-10T20:57:43.054-08:00Great Report Peter.

The main problem seems to be washing pigment out of the brush after a wash - it takes forever.John Softlynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2891643331061427318.post-42840283274338608142012-11-10T00:49:32.821-08:002012-11-10T00:49:32.821-08:00Thanks Ray, I tried to give a flavour of the demo ...Thanks Ray, I tried to give a flavour of the demo as well as highlighting the main points Paul stressed. He is a good demonstrator and holds nothing back. I've come to a belief that colour comes behind value and drawing as we rank the major elements of picture production, so found his remarks interesting. Thank you.

By the way did you acquire one of those whopper brushes?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09350381570737387904noreply@blogger.com
